1. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to $Onlycouplez. By creating an account, accessing, or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our services.

These terms govern your use of the $Onlycouplez application, including all AI companion features, mediation tools, memory storage, and communication platforms.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use $Onlycouplez. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Any activity under your account is your responsibility.
  • Couple Linking: Our service is designed for couples. By linking your account with a partner, you consent to sharing shared data, memories, and communication within the scope of the application's features.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use $Onlycouplez to:

  • Harass, abuse, or harm another person, including your partner.
  • Upload or share illegal, non-consensual explicit content, or content that violates third-party rights.
  • Attempt to bypass the application's safety guardrails, including the crisis detection and age verification systems.
  • Use the AI features for generating harmful, illegal, or abusive content.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.

4. AI Features & Important Disclaimers

AI Companion Disclaimer

The AI companion feature creates an approximation of a partner's communication style based on imported chat history. AI personas are not representations of your partner's actual thoughts, opinions, or intentions. Responses are generated by artificial intelligence and should not be treated as real communication from your partner.

AI Mediation Disclaimer

The AI coach provides structured conversation guidance, not professional therapy, counseling, or legal advice. AI-generated agreements and suggestions are discussion aids and are not legally binding. Users experiencing domestic violence, abuse, or mental health crises should contact professional emergency services immediately. The AI will automatically halt sessions when safety concerns are detected, but this system is not a substitute for professional crisis intervention.

No Medical or Psychiatric Advice

$Onlycouplez is a communication and relationship-building tool. It does not provide medical, psychiatric, or psychological diagnosis, treatment, or advice. Always seek the advice of qualified health providers with any questions you may have regarding a medical or mental health condition.

5. Data Privacy & Retention

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your sensitive relationship data. All AI data is strictly couple-scoped.

  • Chat Exports: Uploaded chat export files are processed securely in memory and deleted immediately from temporary storage once training completes. We do not store raw chat export files.
  • AI Personas: Extracted personas, vectors, and conversation histories are retained until you or your partner manually delete them or dissolve the couple connection.
  • Mediation Intakes: Your private intakes are hidden from your partner. Only the AI-generated neutral summaries are shared. You may delete your own intake at any time.
  • Breakups / Account Deletion: If a couple dissolves their connection, all associated AI data (personas, chats, imported memories, and clash sessions) is soft-deleted and subsequently permanently purged after a 90-day grace period. Reconnecting with the same partner within that window restores it.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Certain features, such as the AI Persona Companion and unlimited Clash Mediation, require a Premium subscription.

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually).
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Payments are non-refundable, except where required by law.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, $Onlycouplez and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or emotional distress, resulting from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the services, including any conduct or content of any third party or AI-generated output.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page and updating the application. Your continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes your acknowledgment and acceptance of the updated terms.
